A Study about the Effect of Sihochunggansan on Eliminating Blood Stasis

Abstract
|
|
|
In order to investigate the effect of SCE on eliminating blood stasis, the various blood responses such as the enhancement of blood flow rate, the inhibitory effect on collagen-induced platet aggregation in vitro and in vivo, on granule release from collagen-stimulated platelet in vivo, on erythrocyte deformability in vivo were studied.
The results were obtained as follows:
1. The blood flow rate was increased by improving the effect on eliminating blood stasis in SCE.
2. The platelet aggregation was inhibited markedly by collagen-induced in SCE.
3. The granule release of ATP was shown from collagen-stimulated platelet in vivo.
4. The effect of SCE on erythrocyte deformability in vitro was not shown in filtration
rate.
From the above results, it was concluded that SCE showed the effect on eliminating blood stasis through the enhancement of blood flow rate, the inhibiton on collagen-induced platelet aggregation. so it could be used on the inhibitory effect of blood stasis in female disease.
